An independent review platform for GLP-1 compounding pharmacies

Cheapest GLP-1 Programs

Ranked by what you actually pay in month one — medication plus any membership fee — not by the number on the ad.

Independently researched · Last updated August 3, 2026

Almost every "cheapest GLP-1" list compares advertised medication prices, which is the wrong number. A platform charging $133 for medication plus a $74.99 membership is not cheaper than one charging $199 all-in. A platform charging $145 but billing every 23 days is not cheaper than one charging $159 monthly — it bills you roughly 15.9 times a year instead of 12.

The table below ranks by true entry cost: the total you pay in your first month at the starting dose, including any separate membership fee. We show the arithmetic in the notes column so you can check it.

Two warnings before you use this list. First, entry cost is not annual cost. Programs with dose-linked pricing get much more expensive as you titrate, so a cheap month one can become an expensive month six — the flat-price programs are marked in our compounded provider ranking. Second, cheapest is not the same as best. FDA-approved medication from NovoCare Pharmacy at $149/mo sits mid-table here but carries a regulatory assurance that no compounded product does.

Note that several strong options cannot be ranked this way at all, because they charge per visit or depend on your insurance. Those are listed separately below — and for some patients they are the cheapest option of all.

Cheap, but not comparable on a monthly basis

These providers charge per visit or work through your benefits rather than selling a monthly package. For the right patient they are the cheapest route available — particularly if you pair a low-cost consultation with a manufacturer-direct pharmacy.

  • Blueberry Pediatrics (Blueberry Balance)$149 membership incl. labs and visits; medication separate
  • DevotedDoc$99 membership; medication billed separately
  • Doctronic$39 per visit; medication billed separately
  • Form Health$299 self-pay program fee, medication extra
  • Forum HealthPricing varies by clinic; $295 initial visit at some locations
  • Honest Care$79 per appeal; free templates. Not a medication provider
  • Indigo Health$99 per visit; medication billed through your pharmacy
  • Klinic$99 initial visit; medication billed separately
  • MDLIVEAccess and cost depend on your health plan
  • Mobile Care Health$199 Core Wellness incl. labs; medication priced separately
  • Omada HealthNo cost to members whose employer or plan covers it
  • Push HealthEach provider sets their own fee
  • QuickMD$99 per consultation; medication billed separately
  • Sesame$59 program on an annual plan; medication extra
  • SynergenX Health$100 full evaluation; ongoing medication pricing not published
  • TeleSlim Clinic$99/mo care subscription; medication not stated as included

The cheapest legitimate route to FDA-approved medication

If your priority is getting an FDA-approved GLP-1 for the least money, the cheapest structure is not a subscription at all. It is buying the consultation and the medication separately:

  1. Pay once for a prescribing visit — QuickMD charges a flat $99 with no membership, and Indigo Health charges $99 without insurance in Washington state.
  2. Fill it through the manufacturer — NovoCare Pharmacy at $149/mo for the Wegovy or Ozempic pill, or LillyDirect at $299/mo for Zepbound.
  3. Check your coverage first. If you have commercial insurance that covers GLP-1 medicines, NovoCare's savings offer can bring cost as low as $25/mo for up to three months, and eligible Medicare patients pay $50/mo through the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge program.

If you are insured, Klinic will handle prior authorization on your behalf — the single biggest reason insured patients give up on getting a GLP-1 covered — and if your employer already provides MDLIVE, your copay may be as low as $0. Check that before paying for anything on this page.

Five hidden costs that break these comparisons

Dose-linked pricing
The most common one. A program advertises its 0.25 mg price and raises it at every titration. Citizen Meds runs $145 to $545; Rixa runs $280 to $525. Ask what your target dose costs, not your starting dose.
Non-monthly billing
Citizen Meds bills every 23 days, which is roughly 15.9 charges a year rather than 12 — about a third more than the sticker price implies.
Membership stacked on medication
Ivím ($74.99), Alloy ($99), Lemonaid ($49), Shapely ($49) and Nurx ($79) all charge a care fee separately from the drug. Always add the two together.
Annual commitments
TrimRx's $99 and Fridays' $150 both require prepaying twelve months. Month-to-month at the same providers is $199 and $249 respectively.
Medication excluded entirely
Form Health's $299 covers care only — medication and labs are extra. Klinic, QuickMD, Indigo and Push Health all charge for the visit and leave medication to you.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest GLP-1 program overall?

By true entry cost, Sesame's program subscription at $59/mo is lowest — but medication is billed separately at the pharmacy. For a program that includes medication, TrimRx at $99/mo on a 12-month plan is the cheapest, followed by Polly at $135 with no commitment and no dose-linked increases.

What is the cheapest GLP-1 without insurance?

A $99 one-off consultation paired with NovoCare Pharmacy's $149/mo FDA-approved Wegovy or Ozempic pill is the cheapest approved route. Compounded programs go lower on medication alone — Alloy lists semaglutide from $70 — but add the membership fee before comparing.

Is the cheapest option the right option?

Not necessarily. Compounded products are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. Now that approved medication starts at $149/mo, the saving from going compounded is often small enough that it is worth paying the difference.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds?

Several providers state they accept HSA/FSA cards, including TrimRx, Willow, Rixa Health, Ivím Health and Aspire Health. Whether a specific expense is reimbursable still depends on your plan administrator. See our insurance and cost guide.
